Our Accomplishments

Community beautification, improvements, and recreation

for families and seniors

We’ve delivered a wide range of improvements to make West Windsor more beautiful, active, and welcoming for families, seniors, and residents of all ages:

For Seniors & the Community

  • Improved Senior Center  programming, including additional music and cultural programming and celebrations
  • New senior bus for improved and reliable transportation
  • New furniture, rugs, and other Senior Center improvements

Community improvements

We have been eliminating long standing eyesores and problem areas in our community.

  • For instance, the old bus garage on the corner of Wallace and Princeton-Hightstown Road is being converted into a small pocket park and combination small parking lot and public event space to both beautify the area and encourage retail businesses in the area.  This will be part of the walkable downtown that we are building on Princeton Hightstown Road between Wallace Road and Alexander Road (Phase I) and Alexander Road and Clarksville Road at WWP High School South (Phase 2).
  • The Vaughn Lot connection, between the new Avalon (W-2 Square) development and Vaughn drive, will improve safety and provide additional egress through the Vaughn Drive side parking lots.

The Historical Society of West Windsor (Schenk Farm museum property) and the West Windsor Arts Council location on Alexander Road are on West Windsor property, and we invest yearly in capital maintenance and improvements in order to support their missions for the community.  Hemant, Linda and Joe are long time supporters of these important West Windsor organizations and their many events and initiatives.

Recreation & Parks

  • Built 2 new cricket pitches at Conover Fields, expanding access to a growing sport
  • Pickleball upgrades: New dedicated courts at Community Park and dual-use tennis/pickleball courts added at Duck Pond Park
  • Improved Duck Pond Park with paved parking, road upgrades, and recreational enhancements
  • Added lighting to Conover sports fields, extending safe play time for youth and adult leagues
  • Installed outdoor fitness equipment and improved walking trails in Community Park
  • Planted a NASA "Moon Tree" at the Ron Rogers Arboretum—connecting history and nature
