Keeping West Windsor safe has been a top priority—and we’ve taken action to make sure our Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Services are the best. They protect our community throughout our township’s 26 square miles with increased personnel and new technology:
- Hired new police officers, firefighters, and EMTs, expanding our emergency response teams to meet growing needs.
- Installed over 30 new security cameras at the Princeton Junction Train Station, increasing safety and deterrence.
- Upgraded and expanded security technology, including integration with a countywide system to improve coordination and response.
- Purchased new fire trucks and water rescue vehicles, ensuring our Fire & Emergency Services are equipped with reliable, modern tools.
- Maintained and increased a robust and highly trained K-9 unit, which has successfully performed critical search and rescue and control of deadly drugs.
- Started and expanded drones as a tool for public safety, rescue and traffic.
West Windsor has been at the forefront of public safety for our residents, whether on land, on water or in the air.
